ScaleChanger in Ivory Coast 🇨🇮

ScaleChanger will be in Abidjan from April 3 to 9 for two key events:

  • The Social & Inclusive Business Camp bootcamp, an acceleration programme for 45 women entrepreneurs from across Africa, where we will support participants in scaling their solutions.
  • A major event* promoting the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) on April 7, bringing together key players from Côte d’Ivoire’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This event aims to raise awareness of SSE among ecosystem stakeholders while strengthening the capacities of support organisations. It is organised by ScaleChanger, the RIESS (Réseau Ivoirien de l’ESS), and the Glory Impact Foundation.

Programme: 

  • Overview of the main principles of the SSE and how it differs from ‘traditional’ entrepreneurship, overview of the SSE in Côte d’Ivoire, round tables and sharing of experiences.
  • Specific workshop dedicated to support structures for entrepreneurship, ‘Strengthen your support services and practices’. Workshop objectives: integrate the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) into your support practices, identify the needs of stakeholders, equip yourself and train for scaling-up in the SSE sector.
