✨✨Looking back at 2024 ✨

In 2024, ScaleChanger celebrated 10 years of existence and commitment to scaling impactful social and environmental solutions.
Since our inception, we have supported leaders of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) organisations—associations, cooperatives, NGOs, and ESUS-certified social enterprises—ensuring that their high-impact initiatives address the challenges facing our society. We also work alongside ecosystem players supporting these organisations to ensure that tomorrow, proven impactful solutions can scale up sustainably and under the best possible conditions.

2024 Key Figures:

• 515 organisations supported (48 individually and 467 through group sessions).
• Participation in 27 support/training programmes.
• Activities spanning 38 countries, with 51% conducted in France, 25% in Africa, and 24% in Europe and other regions.

2024 Highlights:
Among our flagship international projects in 2024:

• The Orange Corners Alumni Project, which involved analysing challenges faced by the alumni community and delivering masterclasses to address these issues.
• The Future Forward Project, supporting 10 organisations from Eastern European countries.
• The Social and Inclusive Business Camp (SIBC), an acceleration programme for 45 entrepreneurs in Africa, providing tailored individual and group support on scaling, while managing the mentorship-alumni component.
• The launch of two European projects:
  • Scaling Catalyst, aimed at building the capacity of support organisations for impact entrepreneurship (incubators, accelerators, networks).
  • Digi-SEII, equipping social enterprises and their support organisations with the digital tools and skills needed to grow and enhance their impact.

We also took part in major events in France and abroad, focusing on ecological and digital transitions, the social economy, and entrepreneurial innovation.

Additionally, 2024 saw key milestones, including achieving Qualiopi certification (Qualiopi is a quality certification brand for training and skills development service providers), recognising the quality of our training programmes, and publishing our second impact report, highlighting our achievements and learnings over a decade of action.

In 2025, we remain committed to supporting all SSE stakeholders while promoting the values and practices of the SSE to a broader audience in France and globally.

Aware of the structural and economic challenges facing SSE organisations, we have strengthened our support offering by introducing:

• Tailored missions addressing the most common challenges organisations face today (e.g., economic models, financial management, social impact assessment).
• A training catalogue featuring seminars and workshops on strategic themes (e.g., internal organisation, governance, associative projects).

Finally, we hope to meet you at the Global Social Economy Forum (GSEF) in Bordeaux from 29-31 October 2025, to work together on what drives us all—social and environmental impact!

SSE organisations, take part in a large-scale survey!

The European Commission has launched the Digital Scaling for Social Enterprises (DIGI-SEI) project, aiming to develop training programmes for social enterprises (SEs) and their support organisations (incubators, accelerators: SESO, etc.).

A consortium of organisations from six European countries (France, Greece, Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine, and Belgium) is leading the project.

As part of this consortium, ScaleChanger and our partners are conducting a survey to assess the digitalisation of social enterprises and their needs.

Survey Objectives:

• Assess the level of digitalisation within your organisation.
• Identify challenges you face.
• Understand your digitalisation needs.
• Highlight best practices.

The results of this survey will enable us to draft a report summarising the digitalisation needs of social enterprises (SEs) and social enterprise support organisations, as well as to develop a digital capacity-building programme.

As a social impact organisation or entrepreneurship support structure, your insights are invaluable.
